Outline
Khasab is the state capital of Musandam, and trading business with neighboring country such as Iran and UAE is very active there.
It is a splendid Oman territory though Khasab is drawn from an Oman mainland like the isolated island.
However, it closely connects with UAE in economy, and UAE Dirhams is used as a daily currency.
Musandam is a fjord in the Middle East with an unusual spectacle view, and it is well known touristic place for European people.
Musandam is a must see place.
It is easily accessible by car from Dubai , also possible to fly from Muscat.
It is connected by a modern road network, and it takes about three hours from Dubai by car.

Khasab Castle
KhasabCastle a picturesque stronghold situated on the inner cove of Khasab Bay, was built in the 17 th Century by Portuguese invaders seeking dominion over regional maritime trade.
Contained within its low, crenellated walls is a massive central tower which is thought to pre-date the castle itself.
